We charge $99.97/month re-billed each month at the same time, or $959/year. You can cancel at anytime and will have access through the remainder of your subscription.
¶ How do I upgrade to a yearly membership with BlackBox?
We offer a 20% discount for people who purchase a yearly subscription. You can upgrade by going to account/my settings (found on the BlackBox platform, at the top of the page) and clicking on the upgrade button.
The upgrade automatically pro-rates any unused portion of the current paid monthly subscription to date. The first payment is calculated by crediting the used portion of the monthly paid. 959 - (monthly unused days / (365/12))*99.97
Then you will be re billed in 1 year for $959.

¶ How to turn on / off the sound and pop-up notifications on the BlackBox platform?
At the top of the "Alert Log" window you can select to turn off the sound or the pop up alerts for the platform. For now, they only turn all notifications off. We will have a selection for options / stocks / alert type soon.
¶ Will BlackBox make me rich?
There is no get-rich-quick path here. Users must understand the markets and do their own due diligence. We offer a tool and community that many users have found helps them trade better and make more money!
¶ How does BlackBox work on mobile?
Please see our Mobile Features page on our Docs for a more in depth review of how to use our Mobile Platform. In summary we have Real-time push alerts and you can access the platform via the mobile app or browser.
¶ Why does BlackBoxStocks not fit or size properly on my screen?
Our single screen layout is designed so all fields can be viewed at the same time, so sizing can be a challenge on smaller screens. If you are experiencing overlapping columns, or if certain information will not fit in the designated screen area, this can usually be remedied by changing the zoom setting on your browser, or using ctr- to zoom out and ctr+ to zoom in. On Macs you can change the setting by hitting Command+ and Command-
¶ What do I need to run BlackBox?
Blackbox runs on Windows or Macs with Safari, Edge, Firefox and Chrome. We recommend Chrome. There is nothing to install.
¶ How do I check my system if BlackBox is running slowly?
Our website is a powerful tool and contains a tremendous amount of data. We do our best to filter out all of the noise, but you will need a reasonably fast internet connection. If you are behind a firewall at your place of employment, or have a slow connection via Wifi....
Check www.speedtest.net and verify you have at least 5Mbps

¶ How do I update my username, credit card or email on file with BlackBox?
In order to update your personal information such as credit card, username, email, etc., simply go to 'account/my settings' at the top of the BlackBox platform page to make changes accordingly.
¶ How do I cancel my membership?
In order to cancel your membership and stop further payment, simply go to your 'Account' tab, then to 'Settings' .
You may cancel at anytime and still have access for the duration of the month/year you have paid for.
¶ Am I a professional trader?
Non-Professional - is any natural person and cannot be a corporation, trust, organization, institution or partnership account.
If you are a professional trader as defined below, please call or email us to discuss membership with BlackBox.
Professional- Any person that meets any of the following criteria:
•Is registered or qualified with: the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, any state securities agency, any securities exchange or association, or any commodities or futures contract market or association.
•Is engaged as an "investment adviser" as that term is defined in Section 201(11) of the Investment Adviser's Act of 1940 (whether or not registered or qualified under that Act).
•Is employed by a bank or another organization that is exempt from registration under Federal and/or state securities laws to perform functions that would require him or her to be so registered or qualified if he or she were to perform such functions for an organization not so exempt.
¶ What are BlackBox alerts?
Are the alerts in the Alert Stream and Alert Log buy signals or entry/exit recommendations?
The answer is NO, they are absolutely not entry/exit or buy signals. Alerts that appear on any section of our platform are there to alert you when a stock is experiencing unusual activity, whether that be an increase in volume, price, volatility or any other factor that could result in a breakout or upward momentum. Our alerts are often mistaken for or construed as “buy” signals due to the performance and accuracy of our system. It is important for you to understand that these are simply stocks to watch, further investigate, or analyze with the array of real-time tools we provide for you on our platform. Once you have enough information, you can make a final decision on whether or not to trade a particular stock.
¶ How to enable 'Rapid Decline' Alerts
Our system doesn't issue long or short alerts. Our alerts are issued when a stock has exhibited statistically deviant behavior and met many different criteria. We do alert when a stock is exhibiting particularly bearish behavior and we identify them as "Rapid Decline Alerts."
They are shown in the Alert Log in red and the definition can be found in the ? icon next to the Alert Log.
By default, these are set to not display. However if you would like to turn them on, you can easily do so in account/my settings and checking 'Rapid Decline Alerts' at the bottom of the page.
