Alert Stream and Alert Log

Click on the Filter button in the Alert Stream section of the platform to pull up the filters to customize the data in the Alert Stream. The options you select will also give you a pop-up notification when that data comes through!

To see all available data types in the Alert Stream, select ‘Select All’. Uncheck the boxes for any data you are not interested in seeing. Flip the ‘Watchlist Only’ toggle and you will only receive pop-up notifications for those stocks on your Watch List.

Dark Pool Prints/Blocks – This filter will include Dark Pool trades in the Alert Stream and give you a pop-up notification when a dark pool trade is reported by the BlackBox system.

Phantom Prints – These unique dark pool prints are like leprechauns. They are rarely seen but they are trades executed at a price outside of the trading price range for the last 24 hours. They are most often seen on the SPY and QQQ. Historically, when we have seen the price action gravitate towards the phantom print price level so all of our Team Traders keep an eye out for these little gems.

52 Week High & 52 Week Low – This filter will include new 52-week highs and lows in the Alert Stream and send you a pop-up notification.

Stock Price Spike – This filter will include the Stock Price Spike alert in the Alert Stream.

Stock Halts – This filter will show you a notification when a stock is halted for news, events, or volatility. You will also receive a notification when the stock is unhalted. The Stock Halts will be displayed in the Alert Stream.

Options – This filter will include all of the BlackBox Options Alerts in the Alert Stream.

Insider – This filter will include Insider Buying data in the Alert Stream and send you a pop-up notification.

Orb – This filter will show you when a stock breaks above or below the Opening Range Breakout timeframe you have selected when you added the BBS ORB study to your charts and send you a pop-up notification.

Low Float – This filter will include low float stock alerts in the Alert Stream.

Use the ‘Date Range’ option to select historical data such as historical dark pool data. Check the ‘Date Range’ box, then select a ‘Start’ date and an ‘End’ date, then hit ‘Set Filters’. Note, the platform will display up to a maximum number of rows. If you do not see all of the data you were looking for, click the Download button (downward arrow icon next to the Filter button) and the system will download all of the data into a .csv file.

Other Filters
You will also find Filter buttons on the News tab, on the OI (Open Interest) tab, and on the Alerts tab on the Options side of the platform.
